This readme file is not a manual for all the features allowed in the ATTO Performance Utility. Only basic operations will be discussed. This text is taken directly from the
ATTO Performance Utility manual.
1) Start Performance Utility by double-clicking application icon.
2) Click SET DEVICE to select partition for testing.
3) Select Partition to be tested from ELIGIBLE PARTITION List.
4) Click ADD to display partition in SELECTED PARTITION List.
5) Click OK to confirm selection and return to the ATTO PERFORMANCE UTILITY screen.
6) OPTIONAL - Click SET PARAMS to view Performance Utility Parameters. View the
default parmeters, but don't change any until you have read the section titled
Completed Performance Test using Defaults. Click OK to return to ATTO Performance
Utility screen.
7) Click START TEST to test the performance of the selected partition. The graph
shows the transfer rate for the default block lengths.
8) OPTIONAL - Click Plot Stats to view the raw data. Select the Sequent/128/4096/32
choice in the PLOT SELECTION. Click GET STATS to view the performance data in the
STATISTICAL INFORMATION window. Click DONE to return to ATTO Performance
Utility screen.
9) OPTIONAL - Without exiting, you may test other partitions that will overlay on the
existing graph. The CLEAR GRAPH button may be used to clear the current graphs at
any time.
10) Click DONE to exit ATTO Performance Utility
NOTE: You can save pictures by implementing "Finder Shortcut Key" combination
